Because of potential abuse and unruly players this game does not have "Friendly Fire". You cannot kill anyone on your own side. Except for this, this game is the closest to a true full scale war sim ever produced.
Starting out as a new Recruit you have limited access to units, but it is easy to rank up and get better units. Being a truck driver and setting up an MSP is one of the best ways rapidly make rank and be a VERY popular soldier! This game is also progressive, as the time in game passes you get access to more equipment.
Most important of all, this game is extremely rich and dynamic and will take a little time to learn it all and rank up. But once you have learned the ropes you will find this sim is truly "spectacular".
