Sony Free Realms MMORPG Signs Up a Million Players in 17 days

Sony's new family friendly MMORPG game Free Realms has signed up 1 million users into the 17 days since the game launched on April 28th. To celebrate the occasion Sony has announced that it will be giving all Free Realms players a limited edition in-game shirt with special graphics.

The one-millionth player will also get a special prize pack including a lifetime game membership, in game astronaut suit and 10,000 Station Cash. SOE also says that 999,999 players will get a matching shirt for their in game pets and 200 Station Cash.

The game is aimed at kids and is rated E10 and up by the ESRB. Players get to customize their characters and explore, quest, battle monsters, and play mini games in a safe environment. The game is also complemented by a trading card game as well.
